Q:  Why is my captured image reversed or mirrored with the CAP-1 or CAP-2?

An example of the issue is shown below:

A:  The CAP-1 and CAP-2 utilize a UVC Compliant Driver, which is basically a generic webcam driver.  Video conferencing applications, such as Zoom have an option to allow "Mirroring" of the image, so that if you are using an actual camera you can see yourself the same as if you are shown in a mirror.  The mirror effect is not caused by the CAP-1 or the CAP-2 but it is simple a setting in Zoom which can be disabled.  Please see the examplebelow:
