At the 2015 InfoComm exhibition held in San Diego, USA, Y.M.C. Technology's US subsidiary showcased the capability of connecting a regular tablet and iPad to the SE-1200MU switcher, allowing for control through input commands. Please find below our insights:

We employed a laptop to control the SE-1200MU for video switching. The laptop ran on Windows 8.1 and required the activation of a proxy server to connect to the iPad via the control panel. We utilized an HP laptop along with the "iDisplay" software to extend the touch panel input from the iPad. As long as there is a wireless router connection to the local network, iDisplay can function on both the laptop and iPad without the need for an external internet connection. The SE-1200MU can connect to the router via Ethernet and subsequently link to the laptop either through Ethernet or wireless connection.
