NDI technology allows PTC-140 NDI to automatically detect and communicate with other NDI video equipment over an IP network. The PTC-140 NDI is the first of many cameras soon to be coming from Datavideo with NDI support.
The PTC-140 NDI has 20x optical zoom, and supports PoE, 3G-SDI video, control, and tally over a single Ethernet cable. PTC-140 NDI can be selected as a video source using streaming applications such as Wirecast, OBS, and video production software such as VMix and NewTek’s Tricaster Series. Camera control is done through NDI IP software and apps in addition to a dedicated hardware controller, which is coming soon called the Datavideo RMC-300A. The RMC-300A remote camera control functions for the PTC-140 NDI include pan, tilt, zoom, focus, iris, camera presets as well as advanced camera settings.
