Last time, we mentioned the inconspicuous Phase II new features added to the TVS-1000/1200, quietly nestled in their respective corners, silently and diligently working. How can such hardworking and earnest features not deserve a big applause, or rather, a commendation? So this time, let's delve deeper into other inconspicuous foot soldiers and give them a stage to shine.

If you are a seasoned TVS user, you must be familiar with a frequently overlooked key feature since time immemorial – the "Still Text Edit" function. While it may seem simple, it is undoubtedly user-friendly and straightforward. Anyone who gives it a try will surely become a regular user. Why, you ask? For those who watch TV programs, be it news, sports, talk shows, or variety shows, regardless of the genre, there are always scenes, characters, logos, or text graphics appearing on the TV screen. This hard reality seamlessly translates into virtual broadcasting production, and these text graphics rely on Still Text Edit. Let's immediately introduce how to use it.

On the TVS-1000/1200 Startup screen, you can find the "STILL TEXT edit" function option. You can choose to create a new file or open a previously created one.

Here's a demonstration of creating a distinctive caption from scratch. We choose to add a new caption, remembering to set the specifications such as the format of the program broadcast. Upon entering, you'll see a clean interface with text adjustment options at the top, a toolbar on the left, and a large preview window in the middle.

You can imagine how simple the subsequent steps will be. First, select the text tool, click on the screen, and the word "Text" will appear. Double-clicking on it brings up the text function menu, allowing you to adjust content, borders, colors, shadows, and more.

Afterward, you can choose the font, size, and more from the options above. Then, you can see the prototype in the preview window.

At this point, we can also give our text a background to make it stand out a bit on the screen. We can use the color block tool to provide it with a box, controlling its position and size. Additionally, you can add a few more color blocks as decorations. Of course, aesthetics are subjective, and this part is left for each person to decide on their own.

When the caption is completed, we can choose the "File/Save" option from the menu bar and save it in "D:/TVS-1200 data/Picture."

Of course, if you prefer to save it elsewhere, I don't mind. As long as you can find it when needed and everyone is happy. After saving the file, you can go back to Production and use it in the Text 1/2 fields. So far, the operation and workflow are similar to other CG products. Now, why should we use Still Text Edit? And isn't it glamorous enough? At this point, I must say the devil is in the details. If you're doing a live program, presenting a product, and the host has set the pace and atmosphere just right, and everyone is excited, only to realize there's a glaring mistake in the caption name, what do you do? TVS-12000? Oh, don't worry. At this moment, all you need to do is calmly move your mouse to the bottom right corner of the screen, click on the pencil icon,

and you can edit the content. The situation is instantly resolved. This is the flexibility that other manufacturers don't have, the ease of use!
