Versatility and multifunctionality mean that the equipment must have various application modes. In addition to recording, the HRS-30 can also serve as a monitoring screen for PGM and has a playback function for Mark In. It is not just a single-function device but can adapt to different functions as needed by the production. Since the HRS-30 can multitask, let's introduce the different functions and how they can be applied in operations.

1. Recording The primary function of the HRS-30 design is, of course, recording. Using a hard drive as a storage tool allows for recording time calculation based on hard drive capacity. Importantly, it adopts the 2.5-inch hard drives commonly used in the market for computers, making them readily available for purchase without the need for specialized hard drive categories. Therefore, any HDD or SSD hard drive available in the market can be used as a storage tool. Another consideration is the duration of recording. The HRS-30 is compatible with 1TB HDD or SSD commonly available in the market. For example, when recording in the 1920x1080_60i specification and 4:2:2/50MB/sec mode, a 1TB hard drive can record approximately 34 hours of video. This easily accessible and long recording time device is a capability unique to the HRS-30.

2. Playback During live broadcasting events, playback equipment is most effective in recreating exciting moments, especially in the context of thrilling sports events. The spectacular playback of sports events is the most effective way to excite the audience. In addition to being an excellent recording device, the HRS-30 is specially designed for playback during live recording. An important feature is the ability to press the Mark In function during live recording to capture potentially exciting moments. For example, when a baseball slugger steps up to bat and the pitcher is ready to throw, pressing the Mark In key. If the slugger hits a home run, the director can immediately playback the marked-in scene to present it to the audience.

In case there is an oversight in pressing the Mark In key and a spectacular moment is missed, the HRS-30 also has a function to play the last 15 seconds of footage when recording stops. This feature serves as a backup for moments missed due to not executing the Mark In function.

Monitoring Regarding the broadcast devices currently available from various brands, almost all uniformly use the MultiView function for input and output monitoring. Therefore, as long as there is a monitor available, it can be used for directing operations. However, in directing operations, a monitor is still needed to view the PGM output. Therefore, the role of the HRS-30 must meet the needs of directing. In its design, a 10.1-inch screen is specially incorporated.
